Here's the good news. Boonex are releasing Dolphin 7 shortly, so as a thank you to their customers they basically gave away unlimited licenses for this version and all new versions to come. Also they've made all the 3rd party applications open source, like the chat and IM and stuff.

What does this mean?

- No more boonex ads

- I will fix all the bugs in the chatroom and customize it the way YOU want it.

- I'll be implementing all the other features this site already has, like Video/Audio chat. a Whiteboard, Video player and sharing, Games etc...

- I also means I can edit how this forum looks and behaves, so with user feedback we'll promote the FawrUmz and try to make it a larger part of the site, easier to use and more accesible.

So basically you're going to start seeing this site go from a struggling glitchfest to a professional and sleek user friendly website, it won't happen over-night, so bare with me, but it will certainly happen. You'll see some weird bugs and changes going on in the next few weeks while I'm working on it, should be interesting, and also POST YOUR IDEAS, the basis of this site is you decide what it is and how it looks so I need feedback.

What I could use the most is input on the look and feel of the side, wheat theme do you want and how do you want it to work? or do you want me to take care of that?

Ps - I've already fixed the chatroom so when you enter then next time and set your font settings they'll be kept indefinitely.

can we do that thing which i said a whiles back on the chatroom, when people enter can you make it so it shows whats been said before instead of having it clear..so people can pick up on the conversation topic or like, tell if the chat is dead...
and can we have a colour scheme, like colour schemes ? this weird greywhite thingy is a bit =s sorry for late reply, i shall subscribe to rss from now.. also i dont like this thing with users adding other users as friends as most of us know almost everyone else here, and it takes far too long to go through everyone adding them (i haz 3 friends :D) l8z.

Heyo Anon, when writing a reply or post just hit the html button and paste your html in there, I edited and copy pasted your reply into the html section.

I've tried many times to get rid of those underscores and will try again, there's allot of things I want to change about the fawrumz.

I didn't forget that you requested chat history before, but I haven't yet found any way to go about doing it, hopefully I will in time tho.

I will redesign the site, I just don't know when, as it is now was just me throwing stuff up to get the boonex look off it. But as it stands redesigning the site would be a commitment to allot of work that I don't have the time for.

I have been working on the site steadily in my spare time, most of what I do isn't seen or noticed. I'll continue working on little things, like the underscores and chat history because I can do those small jobs in my spare time, a total redesign will have to wait.

As it stands this site is a ghost town, so there's no rush for anything really.

I'm good, life's been good, I'm dating Nyx now and she's awesome, I love her to bits. I got accepted to VFS for 3d animation and visual effects, buuuuuuut I need to work on a scholarship to pay for it. But I'm getting there step by step.

Best of luck with your exams, I'm sure you'll have plenty of time for 3d afterwards.
